What is Beneath The Masks?
Beneath The Masks is an original Roll VT Productions film exploring the massive growth of cosplay in Northern Ireland and why people choose to dress as their favourite characters from pop culture and the world of comics and anime.
The film will follow a group of cosplayers through the three big Northern Ireland conventions; MCM, Showmasters, and Q-Con, as well as between these events, getting to know the "real" side of the people beneath the masks.
It is an ambitious project, filming from May 2015 through to November 2015, with an expected release date of January 2016. The project is also a non-profit labour of love that Roll VT is hugely proud to lead.
As well as following our lead cosplayers, Roll VT will also be doing interviews and photos at each of the main convention events in Northern Ireland. So if you would also like to be a part of the film, please come and say hi to us at the following events:

- Q-Con XXII, Queens Student Union, Belfast - June 19, 20th, and 21st
- Showmasters Belfast Film and Comic Con, Odyssey Arena, Belfast - October 31st and November 1st
